TROPICAL INCONVENIENCE FAY
Other than creating a lot of press, Fay has had very little effect on our area, and we're anticipating opening at 9am Sunday.
IKELITE LED DIVE LITE SALE
Jim screwed up and ordered a lot more of the LED lights than he intended, and now we have a surplus of them. All Ikelite lights are on sale - now's a great time to get them!
GUNS AND HOSES
This years Guns and Hoses spearfishing tournament was a tremendous success, and we'd like to thank everyone for their help and participation! We had more than 70 contestants, and we filled the scoreboard with some great fish, including Grouper, Snapper, Trigger, Amberjack, Cobia, and Flounder. Capt. Paul Redman of the "Snapper Trapper" helped his team score big in every category, clearly showing the positive results of an active artificial reef program. Pictures and results of the tournament can be found on our spearfishing page.
DIVE REPORT
Seas are at 7' thanks to TS Fay, and are not forecast to subside until Wednesday, with 1-3' forecasted for Thursday. Visibility had been improving during the week leading up to Fay, and we're hoping that she pushed some clean water in. Will have a report up as soon as we get one.
